Information we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to send us:

• your first and last name;
• your email address and, if you wish, your phone number;
• the content of your message;
• technical data related to the submission: IP address, browser type, referring page, date and time.

Why we use it

We use this information only to answer your request, follow up on our exchanges and protect the form against abuse and automated submissions. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Retention

Your requests are kept in a secure database and in our email inbox, accessible only to authorized Impôtaxe staff. We keep them only as long as needed to follow up, then delete them, unless you become a client or the law requires us to keep them longer.

Cookies

This website uses no advertising or audience-measurement cookies. It sets a single functional cookie, “imp_lang”, which remembers the language (French or English) of the pages you view so we can show you the right version on your next visit. It contains no personal information and expires after one year.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To block automated submissions, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. When you view the form, Turnstile analyzes technical signals from your browser (such as your IP address and device characteristics) to check that you are not a bot. Analytics

The website currently uses no analytics tools. If we add one in the future (for example Google Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics), we will update this policy before turning it on and, where required, ask for your consent.

Client portal

The client portal (portail.impotaxe.ca) is a separate application from this website. The information and documents you upload there are governed by the portal’s own terms and policies.

Your rights

You may at any time ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent to its use. Simply write to us at the address below. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
